BET Music Award Show

I suspended my boycott of BET to catch the music award show last night. For the most part, it was cool. I think EVE gave the best performance of the night. Steve and Cedric were trippin, but there was too much talking and shameless promotions going on with the presenters. I won't dogg BET too much for this. It was the first one and I'm sure they will work on it. First suggestion, Raise the damn microphone or get a podium.

On a scale of 1 to 5, I give it a 3 (plus a half point for Cedric's pink suit.)

Yeah I thought it was pretty cool too. Not too ghetto or cheap props or other stuff you'd normally expect from BET. Also you notice no matter how much money, how many awards, movies or platinum records, Whitney Houston is ALWAYS gonna have some ghetto fabulous up in her!!

whitney was HIIIIIIIIIGH. If cissy could have, she would have put a belt to whitney right there on stage. But what was up with the cat from jodeci grabbing himself. It's like he had an habitual itch or something. At first I thought it was Mike, but I didn't see the glove. They shouldn't mix the R&B in with rap artist though. Cut down on the promos and talking and expand the categories... you'll have a nice shoe. Outkast and Eve gave the best performances, and that hispanic chic, christine "something" did a nice job.
