I know that most of us on here model and everything, but that doesn't mean that we have been keeping our bodies up also like we should............

I've had a personal trainer for like a month now, not cause its bout to be summer, tho. I dunno why I keep him tho, cause I still eat my stuff! lol Anyways, tho. Thats about it.

My arms are getting more defined and my legs are smoother looking, lol, I don't know how to describe it.

starchyld
03-18-2005, 01:19 AM
now thats cool..that would probably be the only way i would start a real workout is if i had one of those. but are they pricey and are they worth what u payin for

Vidab03
03-18-2005, 05:48 AM
Girl, hell naw! I pay around $500 a month for nutrition plan (which I ignore) and four sessions a week.

The thing is that you do the same shit everytime, just a little more reps and a little more weight every few sessions. after like the third session, I was like, 'Damn, I can do this by myself now!' but I have a contract and about five more obligated months to go. :( I feel jipped. lol

anyways, tho. Personal trainers aren't bad, but if you get one you should just pay for one at a time as you feel you need them, so you don't get trapped like me. Ya feel me?

Samantha Skyye

$500 A MONTH for a nutrition plan and you ignore it...you got money to waste- can you put it towards me getting a personal trainer...lol

I want a personal trainer as I feel if someone tells me the proper way to do things I will see better results!! I want a trainer that will be tough on me and let me know what's up for real...lol

shaybootie

i do it rocky style.....i like running up steps. my ex(well soon to be new again) boyfriend have a five story house so instead of taking the elevator i just run them steps.....you talk about legs feeling the burn!!! also, when i was competing in hooters bikini competetions i used to drink unsweetened grapefruit juice because the citric acid actually burns fat at a good pace while you are working out. I refuse to give up my regular diet because it seems that when you do that, it takes longer to actually lose weight. i think that i am gonna get trimspa because that stuff works.

shaybootie
03-18-2005, 11:25 AM
BUT if you feel that you have to alter your regular diet then i suggest this (My old co-worker was a fitness trainer):

1. Try to eat more meat and instead of bread try a salad or something.
2. If you HAVE to eat cheese(like me!), use Provolone cheese. least fat in that cheese.
3. Instead of eating big meals to feel stuffed try eating small snack portions several times a day. That way the ITIS won't overcome you and you will still feel active.
4. SEX is actually a good way of working out.....ESPECIALLY if you are a freak:)
5. In the morning, instead of bacon, eggs, and grits, opt for fruit.....it will actually fill you up!
6. A lot of people don't know this, but all of our favorite foods are made low-fat.....it is just how you prepare them. Instead of frying chicken, skin it and braise or bake it. you can actually fry it too in vegetable oil without breading.

I will continue later I am starting to sound like a health nut over here......

I am impressed SHAY!

MWAHH@ Fuze......

You know I guess since I realized that high blood pressure runs in our family and seeing my daddy in the hospital for things like high cholesterol and things like that it has wised me up some. I dont fry a lot of food and since my moms is jamaican, i look at the way my family eats over there and they dont fry food much there and their food is still great. and they also eat a lot of fruit and veggies so that has affected the way i cook food myself. now that dont mean that i dont still fry my chicken and stuff but we need to be a little more health conscience.

You know try to work out with an athlete......or follow the workout of one....they can do field workouts without the boflex 2000 or whatever tools they are advertising nowadays. i played sports for years and i did a lot of running, squats, sit-ups, and crunches. I think that all of us need to have a online journal and check in on here every week starting the 1st of April. I am gonna remind yall too. whatever you want your goal to be we are going to reach that within 8 weeks of us starting.....let me know if you all are down.

Real shit, I just found out that I have high blood pressure. I have NEVER had health problems! Not knowing my real dad's side of the family is bad because I don't know that side of the medical history. My mom's side doesn't have anything serious.

My physician said that I have high cholesterol but it's GOOD cholestorol. lol! Beats me how that can be... but he said whatever I'm eating... just keep at it. Sounds contradicting right?

Anyway, the high blood pressure thing got to me so I'm taking it easy. I need a woman to help me in the kitchen. ;)

when it gets warmer (higher than damn 60) I plan on jogging my ass off 2 miles damn near every day...crunches....push-ups.....squats.......I can't afford a gym right now. but as of now, I just crunch and squat like 3 times a week. I'm such a bad girl...I know.......

I guess with me being from michigan i dont really have an urgency to eat grits and eggs like that because not many people know about grits especially up that way........WAFFLE HOUSE WOULD MAKE A KILLING UP THERE!!!!!

On the real I like southern food but it's a little too rich for my system.

man quit acting like this is a bitch move and get right on the money with this......this way we all can encourage each other to accomplish our goal......it is just gonna be for like 2mos. so after that you can go on with your normal routine.

with the online journal between us we can:
- keep track of the type of workout we did
- give/take ideas from someone else's routine on here
- HONESTLY check in at the end of each week on our progress.

You telling me that you cant do that cutie?;)

How can I resist when I got the "cutie" AAND the wink  lol.

U read my message wrong though Ms. Shay. It's not "bytch-made." I said "even though Im a nicca" at the beginning since u addressed the post/thread to females (until Fire, Fuze, n I got in on it), not I dont know about doing the journal because Im a man. Got me all wrong sexy. ;)

I love kicking it with men, you get all of the bene's. You have someone to block if someone you ain't interested tries to talk and they leave you alone when you choppin it up with someone you like.

Now that is very true but at the same time the guys are so overprotective that you couldnt talk to anyone if you wanted to and my brother is a football player so when i was out with him and his teammates everyone is intimidated to approach me. lol. sometimes it is cool to have some cool folkes on your end that is the same sex though....there are some things that you can talk about and do around the same sex opposed to the opposite sex.
