here is an excerpt from Tyson's last interview (you can read the whole thing at www.espn.com) (http://www.espn.com)) my question is do you agree or disagree with his last sentence...
I feel like sometimes that I was born, that I'm not meant for this society because everyone here is a (expletive) hypocrite. Everybody says they believe in God but they don't do God's work. Everybody counteracts what God is really about. If Jesus was here, do you think Jesus would show me any love? Do you think Jesus would love me? I'm a Muslim, but do you think Jesus would love me ... I think Jesus would have a drink with me and discuss ... why you acting like that?
"Now, he would be cool. He would talk to me. No Christian ever did that and said in the name of Jesus even ... They'd throw me in jail and write bad articles about me and then go to church on Sunday and say Jesus is a wonderful man and he's coming back to save us. But they don't understand that when he comes back, that these crazy greedy capitalistic men are gonna kill him again."

i saw the interview. i think that mike has not seen a lot of good in his life. so he has a funny outlook on society as a whhole. i agree with his last statement. capitolism over runs everything in it's path. living here in the united states you get the feeling that if you don't have money, you don't exist. And i believe that the lord would help all of the poor people move up in life. and that means the capitolists would try to stop it. or get paid off of it.
The part of the interview that made me laugh was " i think jesus smoked weed". that is what mike said.
I think they should leave mike alone and let him do his job. he is paid to hurt people, thats it. you don't have to be gracful to do that. i saw mike when i was over on maui. he's training right now over there. I didn't approach, i'm too small for that. LOL

you funny (too small for that) but now I thik he does generally have some issues, but the thing I like about him is that he pulls no punches, he is (for lack of better words) a true nigga!!, and unfortunately he's not in a position that will allow that, his lawyers should talk for him about public stuff (politice etc...) I agree with the statement as well, Capitolism isn't ready nor will it ever be ready to bow down to morals and whole heartedness
I think Mike is a product of the society, society made him, now that they made him and can control him now he is a problem.
Think about it Mike didn't have a good life period, he was in the streets only since he was a kid, jackin niggas, knockin niggas out. Then someone tells him make that your profession. So now he is a professional fighter where your job is to knock niggas out. All the hype that comes with it. Then the niggas that be around him are just with him because of who he is (status) and what he got. they tellin him that he can do whatever and of course he thinks he can. Don King fucked his ass up. Especially all the bitches he fucked with. Cause we all know Mike ain't no Shemar Moore and he ain't the most intelligent nigga out that these bougey hoes use to fuck with. But he is rich.
He just doesn't know who is real, what is real, etc... He is like a trained killer pitbull. that's all he knows and that's the only thing people know him for, if he would quit boxin now, nobody would give a shit about him. And he knows it. So right now I believe he said fuck it. No matter what I do, I will get fucked, so let me do fuck first.

i know that mike was treated like a mushroom (kept in the dark, and fed nothing but shit). but there has to be a point where he has to stop and think about his life. even a dog can learn some things. If a dog chews a shoe and the owner beats him, the dog will no longer do it. Mike can learn. anyone can. he just don't care period. He feels as if society don't care about him, he will not give a shit about society. I think if you give him space. and not blow up every little thing he does. he will chill (the fuck) out.
don't get my early statement wrong. i am not saying that mike is a dog. he is deffinetly a person. i was just giving an example.
