I don't know how many of you keep up on current political events, but the big news is unfolding about how the Bush administration knew about the 9/11 possibility beforehand. This is wild. And what makes it even more crazy is that Georgia Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney SAID THIS months ago and was basically "crucified" for speaking such things. People said she was crazy and wanted to distance themselves from her and asked her to step down from her position, questioned her patriotism, etc. If I were her I would go find the biggest 'middle finger' I could find and point it at all the right wing supporters and the whole Bush administration and their spin machine!
I gotta respect her for holding her ground when so many people were against her. There's nothing like vindication!!!
Here is what she had to say today about it all: http://www.house.gov/mckinney/news/pr020516.htm

So true. I got inot this debate last night with my partner and I kinda feel that something should have been said to the public but the truth of the matter is, unless you can tell me exactly where and when, there isn't much anyone can do except stay in the house. I really believe that the danger in all of this is that we get flooded with warnings and eventually no one listens and we end up with the same thing happenng.
I know Congresswoman McKinney feels better knowing that this has come out and that she was only one of a few asking this question. it also lets you know that you can't take what the government says as complete truth. Which has always been the case.

Right. And it's true that no one could have known the exact when and where this event would happen. But just like anything bad that happens, you do an investigation to see if someone dropped the ball and to make sure it doesn't happen again. Now we can do a multi-million dollar investigation on Clinton getting some 'presidential' but we question doing an investigation on this administration on the biggest disaster in American history....sad.

Bush is a damn crook/ a common ass white trash criminal!!!(oh yeah who happens to have big money enough to buy a presidential election.)
I didn't like Dubya's daddy and I sure as hell don't like him!! I wonder what his new approval rating will be now <LOL>!? Right wings cats cared more about Clinton gettin his knob slobbered on than thousands of people dying. Classic case of the governments arrogance becoming their downfall. And they wonder why the American people say F*ck All Ya'll!! They don't have our best interest at hand. Neither did the white, slave owning ruthomrekcufs that wrote the Constitution. Looking after their own asses. What other country do you know that allows a president to win a presidential election after losing the popular vote which tells you the people don't want your ass!!? All kind of loopholes for them to get over are in existence. It's all twisted. They never thought anyone would have balls enough to attack US citizens on their own soil, but Bin Laden doesn't care about the US. It's real bad that the government knew beforehand and ignored it. It's their own damn fault those people died. That's hella guilt for you! I'm sure it could have been prevented. Look how fast we mobilized to attack them after the tragedy. Washington is sick! I wouldn't put it past them that they allowed the ish to happen to quote unquote, 'bring the country closer and improves Dubya's foreign policy stature'!!Dubya better wake up because he's about to be baptized in fire for this slip up!!
