Recently a brother on Chicago’s south side killed a Chicago police officer. Not that I am a fan of the police, but it hurt me to know another brother fell victim to black on black crime. The sad part is that many these crimes are due to drugs and the "so called drug war". It sad because the drug war is claiming young lives in the hood for ounces of drugs while tons pass through customs. As always, everyone is getting rich while young black men wander around as open prey political "get tough on crime" rhetoric. What's funny is that the police will make a $1 million bust and put on a show for the cameras and know they haven't made a difference at all. Then lock a brother up for having a joint in the car or give a sister life for conspiracy to sell if she won't turn states evidence. So is the drug war really about drugs or a perverted form of genocide and self-destruction???

That is reality Doggy. As long as niggas tryin to get dough, this will always be that way. Sad but you gotta deal with it, it will never change, so you better get yours before someone else will get his.

Yeah I agree. This so called 'war' could be stopped if they really wanted it to be. Imagine if we found out people were coming across the Mexico/US border to come kidnap the President's daughter. Do you think they would get across? But drugs are moved easily through cause they don't care. Like they say there's more money in the treatment than the cure. There's more money to make off selling the drugs themselves and taking money/property in busts than really trying to end it. Just like cancer or AIDS. Do you know how many treatment suppliers would raise hell if cures were actually released? The way of the world, I guess...
