By now I guess you've read the news report about Jay-Z pleading guilty to the stabbing of Lance Rivera. Now I'm wondering how he goes from Mr. "Not guilty, ya'll got ta feel me" to this. I don't know if he did it or not, but I do know that the justice system is so screwed up that sometimes it's better to plead guilty and take the 3 year probation than gambling the fact that a prosecutor can twist the facts and you get hit with 15 years time. Not to mention all the money he would have spent throughout the course of the trial.
What would you do? If your lawyer said by just saying you did it or paying a settlement, the odds are you'll come out better, would you do it? Or would you fight for your so called justice and go all the way through trial?
