Don't know if y'all peeped the new mag. "KING", so far they've only had 3 issues out but the magazine is on point with the females and a few other articles...

The new one has Gabrielle Union on da cover and that shawty is banging, melyssa Ford better watch out...

Whatsup with the Jay vs Nas coverage, that shit in the magazine was really lame considering that they had it on the front cover, thought it was something new, thats gotta be the lamest coverage so far...

Check it out tho..they had some tight shit on Floyd Mayweather(the boxer) last time, that was off da hook...

Yeah I got that mag. I'm digging Gabrielle. I wonder if that magazine as a whole will get support. Only time will tell I guess.

I checked out the first copy. the magezine seems kind of thin though. I don't really know where it fits in the whold mag thing. You have GQ and Maxim. I like those because they offer a little more than just a couple articles. I'm a gadget nut. and they offer a couple of pges on gadgets and new things being offered. King seems to be behind the rest of the others, including the source. which i think is a mag on its way out.

WTF is up with Source for real? XXL is tighter than "sauce", the best thing about sauce right now is the cover shot, everything inside is boring..I've been buying that magazine everymonth since 95, but I'm starting to lose interest...

Y'all need to check out "DonDiva" magazine, that shit is crazy...thats the realest magazine out.

Everyone cutting cheese the illegal way need to read that, they call it the "street Bible"

Yeah I stopped reading the Source after they put Benzino (one of the co-owners of the mag) on the cover. If that's not propoganda, I don't know what is. This cat (or his group Almighty RSO/Made Men/Hangmen 3) has never had a hit record and has been up for Source Awards every year and I think got a hip-hop quotable once. And Source claims to be the independent voice of the hip-hop community...whatever! And I've never heard of that DonDiva, where can you find it?

DonDiva is smiliar to the old F.E.D.S Magazine. I seen it mainly in New York, but I am pretty sure it is available somewhere else. In atlanta is this chick Shawnee or somehting that works with them. So I know it is available somewhere in ATL

What's happening people?! Let me shed some light on a couple of questions your raised regarding the Source and DonDiva mag. If you missed it, try and find someone with the December 2001 issue of GQ with Will Smith on the cover. There's a nice article regarding The Sorce in there. Basically, the Source's current owner has been in cohoots with Benzino since The Source began. To make a long story short, Benzino was a gang member whom moonlighted as a rapper. The current Source owner befriended and began to support Benzino and his boyz. All of this resulted in the well publicized fallout a couple years ago between the original founders of The Source. Benzino played a 'manhandling' part in that so to speak. Two owners left and created XXL. Benzino than acquired part ownership of The Souce, but now the mag is facing possible bankruptcy due to the current owners efforts over the years to support Benzino's crew by using Source money. Thus the pisspoor quality. Made Men or Almighty RSO has always been garbage, so you know something had to be up. Find the issue and check it out.

As fo DonDiva in Atlanta? Check out Joe Muggs on the intersection of Peachtree and Piedmont near Lenox.

One :D
